Cataract is defined as the transparent crystalline lens's losing its transparency and leading to decreased vision. Although it is mostly encountered in people over 60 years, it may also be seen in newborns and people of all ages.


          The PHACO method, the most advanced method in the world, is routinely used  in our hospital.
This method does not use any stitches and results in more reliable surgery .
 

         The need for hyperopia correcting glasses usually disappears thanks to the special measurements performed in the pre-surgery phase.
 

          Following the surgical intervention the patients are sent home after a short rest.
