Cataract is defined as the transparent crystalline lens's losing its transparency and leading to
decreased vision. Although it is mostly encountered in people
over 60 years, it may also be seen in newborns and
people of all ages.
The PHACO
method, the most advanced method in the world, is routinely used
in our hospital.
This method does not use any stitches and results in more
reliable surgery .
The need for hyperopia correcting glasses usually
disappears thanks to the special measurements performed in the
pre-surgery phase.
Following the surgical intervention
the
patients are sent home after a short rest.
