The Eye Sight Prevention Foundation, founded by Cağaloğlu Lions and Leo clubs of Istanbul in 1984, fights preventable blindness by:

1.  Creating public awareness

2.  Early diagnosis,

3.  Correct and effective therapy.

Our Foundation is showing great efforts both creating awareness in people and for providing eye health diagnosis and treatment possibilities to those with limited financial means.

Our Foundation provides reliable service according to ethic values, and gives  priority to patient satisfaction in eye diseases, one of the main health issues of Turkey. While we have been providing this service at Bayrampasa Eye Hospital, the first eye hospital established in Turkey 23 years ago, we have become the reference organization in Turkey.

We provide services to our people at Bayrampasa Eye Hospital, and at Bursa, Idealtepe and Kadıköy ophthalmology centers with 30 medical doctors and 100 personnel Daily we realize around 40 surgeries and 400 - 450 polyclinics. Yearly we scan 150.000 - 200,000 people in schools and in public. 

Our organization, an accepted authority in ophthalmology circles, tries to inform public that  eye diseases are not terryfying desperate diseases. We receive patients from all part of Turkey.
