Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital

From the Kartal, Bostancı and Kadıköy neighbourhoods, follow the E-5 ring road towards the Bosphorus Bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue past Mecidiyeköy and the Çağlayan Courthouse. After crossing the Haliç (Golden Horn) Bridge, take the second exit (signposted Bayrampaşa, Gaziosmanpaşa) on the right and keep right at the junction. Once on the Bayrampaşa exit, keep left at the fork and pass through a small tunnel. Take the first right after the tunnel, continue for about 100 metres, turn right again, and you will reach Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital on the corner.

If you are travelling from Sultançiftliği or Gaziosmanpaşa, follow the Edirnekapı minibus route. After passing Bereç, keep going straight without turning. Once you have passed Tuna High School, then the District Governor’s building and the bridge, you will arrive at Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital.

From Beylikdüzü, Avcılar, Yenibosna or Bakırköy, join the E-5 ring road heading towards the Haliç Bridge. After passing the Topkapı exit, follow the signs for Bayrampaşa / Gaziosmanpaşa. Once on the Bayrampaşa exit, keep left at the fork and pass through a small tunnel. Take the first right after the tunnel, continue for about 100 metres, turn right again, and you will reach Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital on the corner.

From Eminönü, Fatih or Aksaray, head to Vatan Caddesi. After passing the Security Directorate and Vakıf Gureba Hospital on Vatan Caddesi, continue toward the bus terminal (Otogar) and take the Bayrampaşa exit. At the junction, keep left and pass through a small tunnel. After the tunnel, take the first right, continue for about 100 metres, turn right again, and you will reach Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital on the corner.

From Bahçeşehir, İkitelli or Başakşehir, join the E-6 ring road. After the Mahmutbey exit, keep right toward Bağcılar / Otogar. Follow the signs for Bayrampaşa / Gaziosmanpaşa. Once on the Bayrampaşa exit, keep left at the fork and pass through a small tunnel. Take the first right after the tunnel, continue for about 100 metres, turn right again, and you will reach Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital on the corner.

Inside the Greater Istanbul Bus Terminal, walk to the metro station. Board the metro heading toward Yenikapı (approximately one train every 4 minutes) and get off at Sağmalcılar metro station. At the metro exit turn right; about 100 metres ahead, walk under the road bridge. After the bridge turn left and continue for around 400 metres — Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital will be on the corner.

From New Istanbul Airport you can reach the hospital using public transport via the Otogar or Yenikapı transfer points. Board an IST-1 bus from the airport (approx. every 15 min.) and ride it to its final stop, Yenikapı. At the Yenikapı transfer station, board either the M1A Yenikapı–Atatürk Airport metro or the M1B Yenikapı–Kirazlı metro, and get off at Sağmalcılar (the 5th stop). At the metro exit turn right; about 100 metres ahead, walk under the road bridge, then turn left and continue for around 400 metres — Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital will be on the corner. Alternatively, take the IST-3 bus (approx. every 15 min.) to Otogar, transfer to the metro heading toward Yenikapı, and get off at Sağmalcılar. The walking directions from the exit are the same.

You can reach Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital from anywhere in Istanbul by combining the metro and tramway network.

Use any of these to reach either the M1A Yenikapı – Atatürk Airport or the M1B Yenikapı – Kirazlı metro line. From either of those lines, get off at SAĞMALCILAR station. At the metro exit turn right; about 100 metres ahead, walk under the road bridge, then turn left and continue for around 400 metres — Bayrampaşa Eye Hospital will be on the corner.
