The Eye Foundation was established in 1984, under the slogan “For a Life of Light“, by enterprising and charitable individuals whose service area was the correction of vision defects. Our aim is to combat acquired blindness through early diagnosis and accurate, effective treatment in eye health and disease. A foundation is service — service to people — and with a sense of social responsibility and sensitivity, we strive to reach education, science and people in need. Our Foundation, without seeking any profit, continues to be a follower and a leader of modern medical technologies, with a commitment to social, scientific and universal development.
As part of our social-responsibility project, an animated public-service announcement has been prepared to highlight the importance of the eye and eye health, drawing public attention to the subject and raising awareness. Adapted from the characters of our children’s magazine, “Gözbebeğim Children’s Magazine”, the animation has been designed to inform the public while emphasising the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
Our priority is people and people’s health.
